The response should show your own screen names, current status, and assigned layouts. No changes are needed to verify the connection.
Describe your business, give the exact wording and prices, and name the screen or layout you want to change.
“What is playing on Roku Right right now?”
“Copy the Lunch Specials layout for our downtown location, increase every price by $1, and show me the new version before publishing.”
“Create a horizontal coffee shop menu named Morning Menu with eight sample drinks and prices. Use a dark background, cream text, and a copper accent. Show me a preview before assigning it to a screen.”
“On the Coffee Menu layout, change the Drip Coffee price to $3.25.”
“Check the Morning Menu layout for cut-off text, poor contrast, and overlapping objects. Tell me what needs fixing and show a preview.”
“On Roku Right, schedule the Brunch layout at 7:15 a.m. and the Lunch Specials layout at 11:30 a.m. every day, using New York time.”
Include the exact screen name and layout name.
Give the final wording, price, time, and font size.
Ask Claude to explain the plan before a redesign or publish.
Say “Use sample data—this is a template” when appropriate.
A precise target and a quick confirmation keep updates intentional.
Ask: “Tell me exactly which screen and layout you are about to change, and wait for me to say go.”
Left / Right and Lobby / Office are easy to confuse. Confirm the destination before a live change.
QuickeSign sign-in and approval happen on the QuickeSign website through OAuth.
Ask Claude to refresh the intended screens after an update. Otherwise, screens may wait until their next check-in, which can take up to an hour. Check the TV for the final result.
After any reconnect, run the read-only verification question again before making a live change.
The connector requires a Quickesign Standard, Pro, or Enterprise plan. Light plans cannot connect. Manage plan changes directly in your Quickesign dashboard.
Use the Quickesign connector in Claude’s directory first. The MCP server address is available above if you need manual setup.
On Claude Team or Enterprise, ask an organization owner to enable the connector. You may still need to sign in to your own Quickesign account after it is enabled.
Check that Quickesign is connected and enabled for the conversation through the chat’s + → Connectors menu. Then ask Claude to list your Quickesign screens.
Reconnect using the Quickesign account that manages those screens. A sub-user can access only what their Quickesign permissions allow.
Ask Claude to refresh the exact screen you updated. Without a refresh, screens pick up changes at their next check-in, which can take up to an hour. Live widgets may also look different from a still preview.
Refresh the connector, or disconnect and reconnect it in Claude. Sign in again if access has expired or your Quickesign password has changed. Run the read-only screen check after reconnecting.
The connector cannot delete layouts, remove media-library files, or change your account and billing settings. Use the Quickesign website for those actions.
Ask Claude to add a file to your Quickesign account. It can provide an upload link where you choose your picture, video, PDF, presentation, or music file. Tell Claude which layout should use it.
Remove Quickesign from Claude’s connectors. Your layouts, media, and schedules remain in Quickesign. Disconnecting does not itself end the token held by Quickesign; see the Quickesign help page for token expiry and account-password reset behavior.
